"Copper, you're my very best friend..."

For the record, I've always been a little emotional. I remember crying at the ripe old age of 7, after realizing one day I'd have to move out of my mom and dads house, probably leaving them feeling sad and abandoned. So it's no surprise that I've shed my fair share of tears in more than one animated classic or series finale. But when it comes to the clips below, I'm pretty sure I'm not alone. Check out the top 12 scenes from kid's movies that make us cry, below!

DUMBO

First the poor baby gets picked on by all the circus jerks, and then when his mom reacts like any good mother would, she gets locked up, leaving Dumbo ALONE! This scene where she swings him through the bars gets me every time!

THE LAND BEFORE TIME

Stupid Sharptooth! My little brother loved this movie, so I had to see Littlefoot's mom say, "I'll be with you. Even if you can't see me."  2452345235 times!

AN AMERICAN TAIL

This song made me bawl when I would watch it at the age of 4. (Told you I've always been a baby.) I may or may not have this one in my itunes library.

UP

The entire beginning of the movie. So.Freaking.Sad.

CHARLOTTE'S WEB

*Sniff, Sniff* Why does everyone die in kid movies?

TOY STORY 3

I saw this movie when I was a senior in college. And I ugly cried through the entire ending. (My sobs could be heard throughout the theater.) I'd be lying if I said tears aren't streaming down my face in the studio now watching Andy play with the toys for the last time. Seriously, try and not tear up when Woody says, "So long, partner."

THE LION KING

"C'mon dad, you gotta get up!"

THE LITTLE MERMAID

I told you earlier, the idea of growing and leaving my parents made me feel terrible as a kid. That's why I always bawl when Ariel says goodbye to her dad and marries Eric. "I love you ,daddy!" BRB, there's something in my eye!

THE NEVERENDING STORY

Artax! Don't let the sadness overtake you!

HOMEWARD BOUND

I debated whether I should share the scene where Shadow is stuck in the mud and tells Chance, "Now all you have to learn, is how to say goodbye."  Instead, I chose the end scene, that still makes us cry, but instead of sad tears, they're happy ones!

BAMBI

I mean, they killed HIS MOM. I've never felt so guilty about eating venison.

THE FOX AND THE HOUND

"Copper, you're my very best friend.'  'And you're mine too, Todd!'  'And we'll always be friends forever, won't we?'  'Yeah, forever'". Spoiler alert: they're not. Instead Todd gets dumped off in the woods after his 'friend turns against him. Why is this a children's movie!?
