New Movies This Weekend Include a Disastrous Earthquake and Hawaii Fun
We expect "Tomorrowland' to leap out of it's number one spot this weekend. But will it be Bradley Cooper or The Rock who takes over?
My money is on Dewayne "The Rock" Johnson. Even though his new movie "San Andreas" seems a little silly, I expect the young folks won't care. Rated PG-13, "San Andreas" is about the California fault triggering an Earthquake, The Big One! It's a disaster flick heading into summer, so it should do very well.
And then we have "Aloha", which the New York Times calls a Hangout movie with Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone in Hawaii. It's rated PG-13.
Neither one appeals to me, but I'm betting the IMAX showings will help take "San Andreas" to the top!
