17,500 Pot Plants Seized in Navarro County

You wouldn't think that Angus, Texas would be known for marijuana but it is today. Some 17,500 plants spotted by an overhead drone are now in police custody.

KWTX says Sherriff Elmer Tanner says he received reports of suspicious activity in the area of SW 0030 near Angus and decided to deploy the drones. By 7 am on Tuesday, police were busy seizing the plants that could possibly end up being the largest number of pot plants found in one location in this part of Texas.
