3 People Killed in Killeen Crash on Fort Hood Street

A crash that happened around 3 AM this morning in Killeen has claimed the lives of three people.

Two vehicles collided overnight near Jasper and Fort Hood Street in Killeen. Police described a Nissan Altima that was said to have been parked at a red light when it was hit from behind by another individual driving a Kia.

KWTX reports that early in the investigation it seems police think the Kia failed to break before colliding with the back of the Altima. The crash resulted in the death of both people inside the Nissan, and the second driver in the Kia passed away at Darnall Army Medical Center.
