Police in Killeen are searching for a suspect after two people were shot Sunday morning.

Paramedics transported a female victim to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple and a male victim to the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Killeen. Both were reportedly in stable condition.

The victims told police the man who shot them forced his way into their apartment before firing, and witnesses reportedly chased the man as he fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7” tall with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing.
