A search for a man from Texas who fell off the Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas late Friday was suspended by Sunday.

46-year-old David Mossman fell an estimated 100 feet from the 10th deck off the coast of South Florida and the Coast Guard underwent a two-day search for the body. After dispatching a helicopter and aircraft to search for the Texas man, the Coast Guard announced it was halting its search.

"We want to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Mossman as the decision to suspend a search is never an easy one to make and is done with great care and deliberation," said Chris Eddy, search-and-rescue technical specialist according to CNN. "Unfortunately, despite our best efforts and an exhaustive search, our crews were unable to locate him."
