Our news partners at KWTX report that Austin police have obtained a recording that features some of the final words from bombing suspect Mark Anthony Conditt. Police say they are calling the recording a confession to the recent string of explosions around the city of Austin.

A cell-phone said to be found in Conditt's vehicle contains a 25-minute video that police are calling a confession. It's interesting that Conditt's smartphone still even functions after an explosion that was powerful enough to kill him inside the vehicle.

In the video found by police, Conditt is said to speak of the differences in the types of explosive devices he is alleged to have built.

Police also report finding more evidence at Conditt's residence after his death.

The Associated Press reports the Conditt family released a statement saying that they had, "no idea of the darkness that Mark must have been in." Conditt was the oldest of four children who grew up in the Austin suburbs.

Video surveillance of Conditt shopping at various stores over the last couple weeks has begun to surface online.
