I began my radio career in 1996 in Oklahoma City, OK. The day after high school graduation in Choctaw, OK I got my first radio job, thus ruining me forever and ensuring I'd never again be a productive member of society. It wasn't a storybook fairytale, as my first assignment was wearing the radio station's mascot costume, suffering through an Oklahoma summer in what I'd describe as a "full-body fur coat". It was at this time that I also began the first of two wonderful freshmen years at the University of Oklahoma. My first on-air gig came at KATT-FM & KYIS-FM. The station was brand new KZ-94, and it would be only 8 months before my 2nd love would call... Texas. I came to Waco doing the afternoon drive show for rock station 102.5 The Bear. After moving on from The Bear and a brief stop in Temple, we moved to Anchorage, AK in 2002 to do a morning show in the great white north. It was fun, it was cold, and after what seemed like a two-year vacation it was back to Central Texas. After spending 6 years working for Eagle 101.7 and KTEM-AM, I was given the opportunity to get my claws into US 105. If there's anything I can ever do for you, whether it's a song, a prayer or a "howdy" to get you through the day, please feel free to email or call me. You're the reason I'm here, and I couldn't be happier to share my life and my stories with you each and every day on US 105.
