Autopsy Results Call CTC Student’s South Padre Death an Accident
Just released autopsy results indicate, the death of 20-year-old Jordan Britten, a spring breaker from Killeen, was an accident.
According to the Brownsville Herald, the autopsy revealed Britten’s death was due to immersion, hypothermia and drowning. The report shows that Britten was also under the influence of drugs at the time of his death.
Britten disappeared March 20, while on Spring Break on South Padre Island. The Central Texas College student was last seen by friends at the Schlitterbahn Ultimate Music Fest, that weekend. His friends left without him and came back to Killeen.
About a week later, a Border Patrol Search, Trauma and Rescue K9 unit discovered Jordan's body in the wetlands behind Schlitterbahn.
