Baseball Fans Will Cringe at the Sight of the Worst First Pitches of All Time

As a baseball fan I find the pomp and pageantry of the pregame ceremonies to be a lot of fun.  The first pitch is always a wild card.  Will it be a boring, average first pitch?  Or will it be so epically bad that it ends up on Sportscenter?

Rapper 50 Cent has been all over your Facebook timeline throwing what was described as the "worst first pitch in history".  It's bad, but is it the worst ever?  A chart offers up the evidence that 50's pitch was, indeed, the worst ever.

Why is it that athletes sometimes have the worst pitches?  It can't be that they're not athletically gifted.  It can't be that they're nervous.  I don't understand it.  I haven't thrown a baseball (other than in the backyard with the kids) in 20 years, but I'd be able to get closer to the strike zone than 50 did.
