Central Texas is once again a popular destination for residents moving to the Lone Star state.

The Killeen Daily Herald reports that according to a 2018 Texas Relocation Report, Bell County is in the Top Ten once again for new residents coming in from outside Texas. According to the report, it's the fourth year in a row that Texas has seen an increase of more than 500,000 residents from out of state.

Area property managers say the military has much to do with the influx of new residents to the area, but Bell County is also ranked in the Top Ten for residents leaving the area. According to KDH, Bell County residents are most likely to leave for Williamson County or Dallas County.
