On one of the biggest party days of the year I just want to make sure you know where to go so that you can make it an Epic St. Patrick's Day.  My first thought is that before you start to go plan on where to go and party your face off, you should know a little bit about what Saint Patrick's Day truly is.

The Feast of Saint Patrick is a cultural and religious holiday that is commonly celebrated on the 17th of March.  Although the day was originally a Catholic holiday, it is now observed with festivals, parades and wearing green clothes or shamrocks.  Even though it is a Catholic holiday, during the feast of St. Patrick the Lenten restrictions on eating and drinking alcohol are lifted for the day.

So cut loose from your dietary restrictions and enjoy the one day a year, or at least one of the few days, that you can go to your local bar and drink GREEN beer.  Here are some local places that you can go and enjoy the festivities.

Wild Country : Located on Veterans Memorial in Harker Heights, this is a large Country Club with several bars inside that can get you drinks quickly.

Denim & Diamonds : A Temple Country Club that is right off of Interstate 35 and has several bars inside with super friendly staff.

Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery : Off Highway 190 in Killeen this is a semi-traditional Irish Pub with food and great service.

Babes Gentlemen's Club : In Nolanville, this is a more 'Adult Oriented' place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with women that are, shall we say, wearing less than normal.

Wet Willies Tavern : Located right by Wild Country on Veterans Memorial in Harker Heights, this is a smaller but more pub like bar that is always a lot of fun.

Pretty Lady Gentlemen's Club : In Killeen off 195, this is also for 'Adults Only' in that there are pretty ladies that might be wearing less than acceptable clothing.  Enjoy.

Now that you know where to go, please do so safely.  Don't drink and drive.
