Shain Gandee of MTV's 'Buckwild' was found dead along with two other people inside Shain's vehicle in Sissonville, West Virginia. Gandee had been missing since early Sunday morning according to reports from TMZ. Gandee, 21, and his 48-year-old uncle David told people at a bar in Sissonville that they planned to go four-wheeling, but did not indicate where they would be riding. It is currently not known if Gandee's uncle was among the bodies found in Shain's 1984 Ford Bronco.

UPDATE: One of the bodies discovered alongside Shain Gandee was indeed his uncle, David. The identity of the third person found dead has not yet been made public. [WBOY-TV]

An MTV spokesperson has released the following statement:

"We are shocked and saddened by the terrible news about Shain Gandee, and those involved in this tragic incident. We are waiting for more information but at this time, our main concern is for the Gandee family and their friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Shain had a magnetic personality, with a passion for life that touched everyone he met and we will miss him dearly."


UPDATE: Gandee's vehicle was found partially submerged in thick mud on a dirt road. It's possible that the cabin filled with carbon monoxide as he tried to free the vehicle from the mud.
