A nearly year-long investigation by The Marlin Police Department into an illegal gambling ring ended with a bust on Thursday Night.

Police, however, are still searching for two men connected to the illegal gambling ring.

According to our news partner, KTWX, "Interim Marlin Police Chief Nathan Sodek said officers served search warrants at the Qwik Stop at 303 Bridge Street. He said they discovered a back room with at least nine gambling machines. Officers also recovered money but Sodek said the department is still working to count it all."

Police have not released the identities of the two men they are searching for.

KWTX reports, "He (Sodek) said the investigation started a year ago after several citizens complained to the department. The Falls County Constable Office Precinct One and the District Attorney assisted in the bust."

If you have any information regarding this case please contact local police.
