Cold Case of Beth Bramlett Gets Solved
Wednesday McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara announces murderer of Axtell teen.
KWTX is reporting that a story they ran back in August reignited a cold case. Wednesday, it was announced that they have solved the 35-year-old case.
This is Talmadge Wayne Wood. This is the man McLennan county Sheriff Parnell McNamara says is the killer of Beth Bramlett. Sheriff McNamara put together a cold case squad last year specifically to look into this case.
He, and his squad, conducted more than 60 interviews, reviewed crime scene photos, and was able to eliminate every other suspect in the case except for Wood, who had the motive and opportunity to kill Bramlett.
Unfortunately Wood died in 2014.
