Fall-like temperatures arrive behind a cold front pushing through center Texas today, bringing us some great Pumpkin Pickin'/Football weather for the weekend.

While a few showers will pop up in areas Thursday, gusty 20-30 mph winds will arrive, keeping our temperatures in the low to mid 70's. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 40's by early Friday morning, then warming back into the mid to upper 70's by Friday afternoon.

Temperatures will warm up slightly by the end of the weekend, but our partners in the KWTX Doppler 10 Forecast Center expect the cooler temps to last into next week.

If your headed out for Friday Night Lights or to area Halloween activities, you'll probably want a sweatshirt or a light jacket just in case.
