Concerns Addressed at Killeen Police Forum

Killeen officials gathered together with local residents for a community forum at police headquarters Monday night.

Police Chief Dennis Baldwin addressed the concerns of about 20 residents, including red light cameras and vacant buildings. Division and unit commanders were unable to attend due to normal police operations combined with a shooting investigation, the recent death of an officer, and the hospitalization of another.

Mayor Dan Corbin began the evening by offering condolences to the Killeen Police Department.

About 20 residents attended the forum, which lasted 90 minutes.
