Closing out the month of March is our Hometown Hero, Kenneth Weddle, stationed at Ft. Hood in Killeen. Weddle is no stranger to the military as he's been serving for 19 years.

His wife, Shannon, calls Kenneth, 39, a "devoted husband, father, and above all a soldier." He has been deployed five times over his military career, living in Bosnia, Iraq (twice) and Afghanistan (twice). Weddle, originally from Virginia Beach, lived in Killeen for three years when he was first stationed at Ft . Hood and is back for another stint.

He is pictured with his family; wife of 18 years Shannon, daughters Jeanette and Cierra, and son Kristian (not pictured). Congratulations Kenneth for being our Hometown Hero!
