The Copperas Cove Police Department recently unveiled a social media campaign to help arrest wanted persons and its been a tremendous success so far!

According to a press release from Sgt. Kevin Miller, the Copperas Cove Most Wanted publication has yielded four felony arrests in less than a month's time and also, the department's Facebook page has grown to over 11,000 followers, showcasing what we can do as community to fight crime.

The CCPD also unveiled its "Cove Watch" program which sends out texts or email alerts to residents to inform them of certain crimes and other events going on in the community and its video surveillance partnership program, a database made up of residential and business surveillance cameras throughout the city that is used to help identify criminals. Cove Watch is already nearing 1000 participants.
