The CEO of Coryell Memorial Hospital in Gatesville announced the hospital is back open for business and ready to see patients while the investigation and cleanup continues from last week's deadly explosion which killed 2 people and injured 14 others.

According to KWTX News 10, CEO David Byrom said the building has been structurally reviewed from top to bottom and the entire complex has been released for occupancy.

Meanwhile, Gatesville police and state investigators are still trying to determine what exactly caused the blast last Tuesday afternoon, but the initial investigation indicates it was a construction-related accident resulting in a natural gas explosion.

Nine of the 14 injured are still hospitalized in various hospitals around the state, including Parkland Hospital in Dallas, the San Antonio Medical Center, and Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin.
