Dallas Police Capture Murder Suspect They Accidentally Released

WFAA in Dallas have announced the capture of a potentially dangerous man mistakenly released from prison last Friday

Authorities searched frantically for a psychiatric patient who walked out of the Dallas County Jail Friday after he was accidentally released by police. This kinda sounds like the plot to a bad video game but sadly this was the real thing.

Tony Carson was receiving treatment at the largest psychiatric hospital in Dallas, Timberlawn hospital. Carson was arrested at the end of June after he allegedly murdered Dr. Ruth Anne Mardock who supervised his treatment.

According to hospital surveillance video Carson attacked Marcock in the hallway after she informed him he was being transferred to another facility. Carson tackled Mardock to the ground causing a injury to her skull that resulted in her death a week after the attack.
