I’ve been working in radio for more than 15 years. My career began as a part-time on-air personality and board operator for a station in Longview, Texas in 2001. I continued to work part-time while studying journalism and photography at Kilgore College. Upon graduation, I got my first full-time gig at a classic country station in Tyler where I worked mid-days. Since then I’ve worked for a number of stations in Texas. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, family and my two cats, Georgie and Tammy
Just like his listeners, Buddy Logan is first and foremost a lover of Texas Music. “I love real music written and sung by the same person. And story songs,” Buddy says. “The way a Robert Earl Keen or Chris Knight spin a story is pretty much unheard of now. It’s a shame more people don’t get to hear music of that caliber on radio much anymore.” And his infectious passion for the music oozes throughout Radio Texas, LIVE! It’s been a love affair since he first heard Pat Green’s “Carry On” in 2001
After 8+ years in the business there are not many jobs in the building that I haven't done. Right now I am the current Regional Traffic Manager but also get to spend Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm on US 105 New Country and K1017 Central Texas' Greatest Hits. I am a husband, a father, a middle-aged *ugh* guy that has grown up all over the world and spent a large portion of my life in Central Texas. Check out my Facebook to see pictures of that all.
In from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Wes Adams is a big fan of all kinds of music, rodeos, fishing, baseball, and making new friends! Listen for chances to win concert tickets and prizes, stay up to date with local information like weather and traffic for Central Texas, and enjoy some awesome music along the way!
Sam Alex has worked for country stations across the nation and never misses his favorite acts when they come to town. He's been on red carpets for many different awards shows and interviewed some of your favorite celebrities, like Will Ferrell and Taylor Swift. Originally from Chicago, Sam now lives in Nashville, where he hosts the Taste of Country Nights radio show, a syndicated night show which airs on more than 75 stations nationwide. If you ever see him on lower Broadway, get him a pina colada and some BBQ chicken pizza
