Brandi, our Traffic Manager, was cleaning out the office supply closet and brought a little box to me asking if I knew what it was.  Within seconds of looking at it I immediately knew what it was.  However she was born in 1988 and probably never used the piece of machinery that this goes to.

This is a typewriter ribbon.  It is the strip of inked material that the letter or number hits that pushes the ink into the paper to form an imprint of the corresponding button.  This is what people used to use before computers and printers...

For those of you too young to comprehend... This is a typewriter...  And yes... People still use them...
