Kids across Central Texas are invited out to Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA) on April 17, for the annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt.

This “egg”citing event boasts more than 65,000 candy-filled eggs, hidden on three fields.  Loose candy and over 350 prize eggs are spread across each field for “eggs”tra fun. Egg hunters who find prize eggs can redeem them at the prize booth, after the hunt.  Bring your Flashlights and Easter Baskets!

Kids will be divided into three age groups: 2 - 3, 4 - 7 and 8 – 12.  Adults must hunt with children 2 - 7 years of age.

Pre-hunt activities begin at 6 pm and include games, inflatable bouncers, concessions, face painting, a magician, photographs with the Easter Bunny and  other activities.   The hunt begins at 8:30.  BLORA Gates will close at 8:10

Admission is $6 per vehicle, $10 for 12/15-passenger vans and $20 for 24-passenger buses. Cash, MasterCard and Visa debit cards can be processed at the park's main gate entrance; only cash is accepted at the Liberty Hill gate entrance.

BLORA is located on North Nolan Road, 10 miles from East Range Road. Access to the park is also possible from FM 439 and Sparta Road.
