Fort Hood will celebrate the 4th of July at Hood Stadium. Free and open to all, the celebration will start at 5 pm. You can buy the usual food and drink, from vendors and family readiness groups.
Musical entertainment will include Pat Waters and the Chainlink Band, Max Stalling and his band playing their original music from 6-8 pm.,
They will be followed by two 1st Cavalry Division Bands performing from 8-9:30 pm. "Warrior's Call" will cover rock-n-roll hits and "Crossfire Brass Band" is a brass band covering popular music.
The 30 min fireworks show will begin around 9:30.
If you don’t have a DOD sticker or a visitors pass, you must enter and exit through the Clear Creek Gate using the left visitors lane. Drivers and passengers 18 and older must have a valid photo ID.
