Killeen Road Maintenance September 24-26, 2013

Crews will perform preventative maintenance on several city streets this week Work will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Residents in affected areas will receive additional notice as service times near.

Traffic will be routed around the work zones during this time.

Each year, streets are identified to be slurry sealed, a process that extends the life of streets and provides a smoother riding surface. Slurry sealing involves the entire street surface, curb to curb, so cars in affected areas must not park in the roadway.

Vehicles may use the roadway once the barriers are removed.
