It's time for Killeen's salute to the Arts with Take 190 West, sponsored by the Killeen Convention and Visitors Bureau, the City of Killeen, and the Killeen Independent School District. Sculptors, Artists and Authors of all ages are gathering to show their works and learn from each other.   The Saturday show is Free and Open to the Public. March 2, 10-4 at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center,  3601 South W S Young Drive.

Featuring a host of talented contributors from across the country, the festival will include art shows, a sculpture contest, story times, book signings, metal works and pottery demonstrations, and more.  Thirteen bronze statues created by a Central Texas sculptor to honor the victims of the Fort Hood tragedy will be displayed during the festival.
