Learn all about our local natural resources and have some outdoor fun at the Central Texas Nature Fest 2014 on Saturday, October 18th from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Bend of the River park preserve (7915 S. General Bruce Dr.) in Temple. Presented by the Central Texas Chapter of the Master Naturalists, in conjunction with the Temple Parks and Leisure Services, Nature Fest will be an exciting and educational event for the whole family, focusing on the rich diversity of wildlife, habitat, history and heritage of Central Texas. We will have over 45 exhibitors, as well as vendors and food trucks. Activities for all ages will be held throughout the day including four, 45 minute, seminars on diverse and current topics related to nature.
