Fallen Branch Pins Woman to Pavement in Killeen

Have you ever taken a walk and had something very small hit you in the head? A fallen twig or an acorn? It doesn't hurt much, but it gets your attention. Well, a woman walking in Killeen Monday morning had something much bigger fall on her.

As reported by our news partner, KWTX, a woman was walking near the intersection of North 16th Street and Atkinson Avenue around 10 AM when a tree branch fell on  her, pinning her to the pavement.

The woman was able to free herself before paramedics arrived. She was transported to Metroplex Hospital and is expected to be just fine.

This is a reminder to always to keep your eyes peeled, because you never know what may fall in your lap (or on top of you).
