Fall is here, and a cold front sweeping through Central Texas Friday should bring relief from the lingering summer heat.

Unfortunately, it could also usher in some severe weather, and to be on the safe side, the folks at Johnny's Outback in Salado and Flatland Cavalry have cancelled Friday's concert.

If you bought tickets, you're entitled to a refund. Obviously no one wants to cancel a show so many people were looking forward to, but the safety of the audience and the performers should always come first.

The silver lining - the folks at Johnny's say Flatland Cavalry will return in 2020, and you know it's going to be a fantastic show.

(If you happen to be anywhere near Seabrook, TX on Saturday, October 12, you can catch Flatland Cavalry at the town's Celebration Seabrook festival.)

It's a bummer, but there's more great music coming soon to Johnny's Outback in Salado. Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 26 when Randall King will take the stage. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. You can get yours at johnnyssteaksandbbq.com, Heights Lumber and Supply, and Smallcakes in Temple.
