Fort Hood Family Members Need Big Brothers and Sisters
Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Central Texas needs volunteers to mentor military children between the ages of 9 and 16 in the Greater Fort Hood area.
Eligible children include those with an active-duty military parent, a deployed parent, or one about to deploy, and children who are Survivors (a parent died in the war).
The program is enrolling children now.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters also needs Military Mentors, active duty or civilian. Adult mentors must be 18 or older and must pass a background check.
