Check your driveway. If you have a Chevy 1500 sitting there, you might have a problem.

KRIV-TV shared an Associated Press report that General Motors Company has failed to build good vehicles...again. They're recalling around 800,000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups worldwide.

It seems that the vehicles can temporarily lose electric power steering assist during low speed turns. If you've ever lost your power steering you know that will mess you up. That's a hard turn.

The recall affects vehicles from the 2014 model year.

Think this will make those irritating Chevy commercials?

"We were wondering if you could read all the times we were caught selling the general public an inferior product that just might kill your family. But don't worry about us, we've paid off the government so we won't get in trouble. We'll just raise the prices on the next model year to make up the cost of the recall. Now please just bend over this chair and read the list."
