Governor’s Mansion In Austin To Be Lit Blue For Fallen Dallas Police

The Governor's Mansion in Austin will turn blue tonight in memory of the fallen Dallas Police officers who died during the Black Lives Matter Protest Thursday.

Governor Greg Abbott says the Mansion will be lit blue for the next five nights to honor the five Dallas Police Officers who died yesterday.

Governor Abbott said, "We can never give thanks enough to our law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day to protect us. Lighting the mansion in blue is a small gesture in showing the State of Texas’ appreciation for all that they do. I encourage all Texans to stand with law enforcement on this day and say ‘thank you’ for their service to our great state.”
