Have you ever been hungry?  Have you ever had to stand by and watch a child go hungry? If you're looking to help out a child or family, you don't need to send your money to another country.  Some of your friends and neighbors could use a hand right here in Central Texas.

The Harker Heights Food Care Center is need of contributions to help feed the thousand individuals, which is an average of 250 to 300 family's, who use their services every month.  It's not an exaggeration to say that your small change can work miracles.  For every dollar you donate, the center can buy 5 pounds of food.  For every $100 dollars the center could feed 400 families.

The inaugural Vision XXI class, which is sponsored by the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce, has taken on a challenge to  raise 10,000 dollars to help the food center.  If you'd like to help, you can donate at hhfoodcenter.org.  Help out a friend or neighbor with a donation today.
