Head-On Collision Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

A head-on collision in Nolanville early this morning resulted in one death, according to police. Details about the person could not be provided.

The accident occurred on US 190 near Main Street at approximately 1:30 in the morning. A woman was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes when a man attempted to pass a car and the two cars collided head-on, according to officials. One vehicle ended up dangling off of the overpass.

The woman was airlifted to Scott & White Hospital in Temple with moderate injuries. The man suffered minor injuries, and a passenger in his car was taken to Scott & White in critical condition.

The passenger was later pronounced dead.

The collision is currently being investigated.
