As a person allergic to bee stings, these stories always give me the creeps! USA Today is reporting the story of a Texas woman whose home was overrun with bumblebees.

Latanja Levine of North Houston called a roofing company about fixing up her home when she was told she had anywhere from 50,000 to 60,000 bumblebees hanging out in her attic. Levine said she had honey dripping down the walls onto her curtains, and even found it pooling on the floor in her living room.

The roofers informed her that since bumblebees are now federally protected, they'd have to find a safe way to remove them from her attic. Professionals "smoked" the swarm out of the attic and into colonies, but still had not found the queen bee and couldn't be certain if it was gone.
