House Creek Elementary School in Copperas Cove was temporarily evacuated Tuesday after fire alarms sounded.

The school's alarm system was activated around 11:30. According to a post from the Cove ISD Facebook page, the building was evacuated and firefighters conducted a thorough inspection. According to a post on the Cove ISD Facebook page, it was unclear if there was a fire or if the alarm was falsely triggered.

Classes resumed after firefighters completed their sweep and gave the all clear.
