You don't have much time!

Next month Killeen Municipal court is sending out the police on a Warrant Round Up.  If you owe traffic fines or other misdemeanor fines, and they have a warrant for your arrest, you could go to jail! To avoid arrest pay your fines before February first.

Don’t be afraid, it’s not a STING.  The City of Killeen is giving you a chance to clear your outstanding warrants without being arrested.   You have to take care of them before February.  That’s when the Killeen Municipal Court will conduct a warrant round-up, and you may be arrested. To avoid arrest, clear up those traffic tickets and other outstanding warrants now at Killeen Municipal Court. In February,  city marshals and police officers will be out in force making arrests. They can arrest you anywhere, at work, in your car, out in the yard, at the grocery store.  If you haven’t taken care of the warrant,  you will be arrested.  And that means more money to get bailed out.  Special accommodations have been made to handle the large number of arrests.

To avoid being arrested, anyone with a warrant should clear it immediately in person at  Killeen Municipal Court, 200 East Avenue D.  Open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pay with cash, money order, or Visa/Mastercard (no checks).
