My copy of 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' has yet to arrive, and in the meantime I've been enjoying anything and everything Harry Potter related. For example, this interview Oprah did with author J.K. Rowling in 2010.

Maybe it was the lateness of the hour when I first watch this, but I cried. Not only do I love the Harry Potter series, but I've always admired Oprah. The women seem to have a great deal in common, especially at the time of this interview.

Towards the end of their discussion they compare notes about the next challenge they each face in their lives. Oprah was bringing her show to end to begin her OWN, pun intended, network to life, and Rowling was finishing the series.

They were both at a major crossroad in their careers, and it's fascinating to watch two of the most incredibly influential women on the planet discuss their next adventure. If you missed this when it aired originally, it's still relevant. Enjoy!

I'll watch again as I continue to await my delivery.
