Despite suffering an injury, Jana Kramer returned to the Dancing With the Stars stage on Monday night (Sept. 19) to perform a tango with dance partner Gleb Savchenko.

Kramer and Savchenko performed to "I Don't Wanna Be," in keeping with the week's theme of famous TV songs. The tune was the theme song to One Tree Hill, the TV drama on which Kramer appeared, and was sung live by Gavin DeGraw. Even with her sprained intercostal muscle, Kramer nailed her choreography, earning a score of 29 points (out of a possible 40) and praise from the DWTS judges for fighting through her injury.

"I don’t want to leave the second week in," Kramer admitted (quote via ET), with Savchenko adding, "Yeah, we had to change a few things, but it worked."

In addition to Kramer, singer Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick, former Texas governor Rick Perry, former NFL player Calvin Johnson and more are competing during Dancing With the Stars Season 23. The singer follows in the footsteps of fellow country stars Wynonna Judd, Kellie Pickler, Chuck WicksSara Evans and Billy Ray Cyrus, all of whom have previously competed on the TV dancing show.

Fans can vote for Kramer and Savchenko on Dancing With the Stars' official website, prior to Tuesday night's (Sept. 20) eliminations, which begin at 8PM ET.
