Authorities in Terry County near Lubbock say arsonists are likely to blame for a fire at a popular Christian tourist attraction.

The Houston Chronicle reports that someone entered the Tomb of Jesus in Brownfield Saturday, piled cotton on a table inside, then set the pile aflame.

The table was destroyed, and police are investigating the case as arson.

According to Everything Lubbock, the roadside attraction is on private property, but typically open to the public.
