Keith Urban took the stage at the 2018 CMA Awards for a propulsive take on his latest single "Never Comin' Down." The track comes from Urban's Album of the Year-nominated Graffiti U record.

The performance featured some of the most elaborate staging of the night to date: Urban began the performance bathed in dark light, with pulsating bass coming from behind him.

As the song picked up, the camera panned away and revealed Urban to be standing on a giant platform that had a front-facing video screen. Throughout the performance, the screen flashed all sorts of lights, from blocky red streaks to the words "Never Comin' Down." The screen also had glimpses of the band playing the song too.

Urban remained on top of the platform throughout at the mic, singing the catchy song and unleashing some flashy guitar moves. His wife, Nicole Kidman, was spotted in the crowd singing along and grinning multiple times as he performed, an adorable touch.

"Never Comin' Down" was written by Urban along with Josh Kerr, James Abrahart and Shy Carter. The song follows "Female" and "Coming Home" as singles from Graffiti U.

In addition to Album of the Year, Urban also received nominations at the 2018 CMAs for Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.
