Kevin Fowler to Headline Bloomin’ Temple 2014

Kevin Fowler will take the main stage on Friday night after Bart Crow and Bri Bagwell to headline the Bloomin’ Temple Festival.

The Texas country superstar asks his audience just ‘How Country Are Ya?’ performing songs off his newest studio album which will be released this month.

Fowler said How Country Are Ya? came full circle as he was able to rediscover the joy of producing music. On this record, Fowler doesn’t think too much about pleasing the corporate music industry

“If you try to serve everybody you end up making a record that no one likes. You just try to do what feels right and feels honest. We tried to go back and make records like we always had before the industry got in the way.”

Fowler, who will be headlining at the festival, assures fans that they will not be bored during his set.

“We have a pretty big production. There are a lot of artists who have these little boring shows. My theory on it if you want to listen to a CD in your car you can save about thirty bucks. If you want to come to a show, we’re going to give you a show.”

Fowler will give fans a show they won't soon forget May 9 in downtown Temple.
