Killeen Blood Drive Draws 42 Pints In Honor Of Fallen Officers

A blood drive honoring Killeen police drew a huge crowd Sunday.

The Scott & White mobile unit collected blood donations at the First Baptist Church in Killeen, drawing 42 pints in all. The blood drive was held in honor of fallen KPD SWAT officer Robert Hornsby and injured Officer Juan Obregon Jr. after Killeen police donated blood last Tuesday and suggested Scott & White organize a larger donation drive of its own.
