Summer can be a time of great fun for kids but it can also be a time of stress for families who could use a helping hand while the kids are at home with nothing to do. We all could use a helping hand at this time of the year and the Killeen Independent School District wants to make sure that kids don't go hungry this summer with their Summer Meal Program.

KISD Schools, churches, businesses and community centers in Killeen and Fort Hood including the YMCA and Clements Boys & Girls Clubs will be open throughout the summer serving free meals to kids ages 1-18 for lunch and free breakfast will be available at a few locations as well. The Summer Meal program is underway now through August 12 and if you need a complete list of locations, check the gallery below or contact KISD for more information at 254-336-0000.
