Killeen Man Arrested – Allegedly Held Another Man Hostage For Four Days

Killeen police arrested a man in the 1300 block of Stage Coach Road after another man claimed to have been held hostage for four days by the suspect.

24-year-old Cody Allen Sedgwick is currently in the Bell County Jail on $100,000 bond. Police allege Mr. Sedgwick kidnapped a man and held him hostage in an apartment for four days, threatening to kill him and blow up his car should he attempt to leave.

Police responded to a call reporting a possible hostage situation Tuesday. A woman allowed them access to an apartment where they found Sedgwick acting suspiciously and another man who claimed that he was being held against his will. Sedgwick was seen with his hands under a mattress, and police report finding methamphetamine at the scene.
