Killeen Man Struck By Two Different Cars In An Apparent Hit-And-Run Sunday Morning

Police say an apparent hit-and-run accident that took place early Sunday morning on Fort Hood Street, and resulted in one man being taken to Scott and White Hospital in Temple. 

The accident was reported about 2:30am Sunday morning in the 3300 block of Fort Hood Street in Killeen. Police found a 30-year-old man laying in the street in front of a Ford Fusion with life threatening injuries.

According to authorities the hit-and-run vehicle was headed north on Fort Hood street when it hit the victim and threw him into the path of the Ford Fusion which then also struck the victim. The first vehicle did stop after striking the man.
