Killeen Police Asking for Help Locating Local Elderly Man

Update: Police announced  Saturday afternoon that Grover Perkins was located and is with his family in Killeen.

Killeen police are asking for the public's help to locate an elderly man.

The family of 76-year-old Grover Perkins last saw him Friday evening around 6:38 p.m. Perkins left his home in the 3200 block of Rampart Loop walking in an unknown direction. He was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt, jeans, and a jean jacket or black windbreaker. He also uses a cane.

Perkins' family told officers that he talked about going to Louisiana, and his family and police are concerned for his welfare and believe he may be lost.

Anyone who sees Grover Perkins or may know where he is are asked to contact the Killeen Police Department at 254-200-7905 or their local law enforcement agency.
