The City of Killeen has some issues. The Police Department would like to hear from you about those issues, and what to do about them.

KWTX is reporting that Killeen Police Chief Charles Kimble will be holding a forum where he would like to hear from the public about the issues facing the city. He says they've had these forums in the past, but this year he'd like to change it up a bit.

He says..."It gives us a chance to hear first-hand the concerns of the citizens as we develop our strategic plan here at the police department. We can take the input that we hear directly from the citizens and integrate that into our strategic plan to move forward."

The forum will be in multiple parts. First part, the citizens can walk around and speak directly to the KPD team, while the second part will feature guest speakers from community partners like LULAC and the NAACP, which will be discussing how they can help resolve community issues outside of crime.

The forum will be held Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Killeen at 3310 South W.S. Young Drive.
