Killeen Police are asking for the public's help to identify a forgery suspect accused of preying on the elderly.

Officers filed a report on Friday, April 24 after a citizen informed the department that someone had stolen several blank checks and cashed them in Killeen. The victim's bank reached out to them after noticing a number of unusual withdraws from their account. Police say all of the checks were stolen from elderly residents of an area nursing home.

Detectives are asking anyone who can identify the suspect or has information about this crime to contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477). Information that results in the arrest of the suspect could net a reward of up to $1,000 in cash.
